I've been documenting the demonstrations brought about because of the deaths of Eric Garner, Trayon Martin and Mike Brown and I've noticed the mood of these protests have gone from mournful, to justifiably angry. How many more unarmed citizens have to be executed before the government, municipal, county, state and federal, has a serious conversation about over-policing in the US? The saddest thing is that these incidents aren't new, just becoming increasingly more visible due to social media.
The collection of photos below chronicle my experience as a participant to the righteous causes of scaling back police impunity to execute the citizens they are sworn to protect.
